- Enterprise blockchain startup Axoni completes series B. Investors include GS and JPM. Axoni has completed trials for derivatives transactions on same chain and cross-chain platforms.
- Prime Trust, based in Nevada, joins Northern Trust, GS, ICE, Coinbase, BitGo in crypto custodian business.
- Coinbase acquires digital identity startup, Distributed Systems
- JD.com provides blockchain-as-a-service.
Markets
- Institutional crypto dealer SFOX, established in 2014, completed its series A of USD22.7m . SFOX executes orders for institutional investors, HNW and family offices. SFOX works with several crypto exchanges.

- Vietnam bans import of mining equipment
Tech:
- A flaw was found on Intel's Software Guard Extensions (SGX) equipped chip, a segment of the hardware purposed to store sensitive data. Potentially affects crypto projects which have based their work on the chip.
