I stumbled upon the opportunity just a few days after listening to a podcast with John McAfee. He is a chief advisor for the company.
What does the company actually do? And what is their involvement with cryptocurrencies?
Essentially, they have become one of the biggest bitcoin miners in the U.S. They are focused on expanding their mining capabilities. With the help of Mcafee, MGT is also working on a portfolio of cybersecurity products, including a secure, hack-proof mobile phone.
This could be a potential opportunity to invest in a company which can ride the wave of cryptocurrencies up while avoiding the high levels of volatility and risk, and bring a decent return to investors.
The company’s shares are not currently trading on any of the major exchanges, but that could change in the near future if they continue to show return for investors. The stock is still available on many online brokerages.
