Steem or Steem Dollars? where to invest 5000 dollars?

Hi all!
Soon I have to make a very important decision. Where to invest 5000 dollars? In Steem or Steem dollars? It is better to store them on the exchange or in a private office? I really like this platform and I believe in the future and the development of this project. But the two currencies, what to choose?

    If you do a lot of Curation, I would suggest you purchase steem and power up. You will get a higher return on your upvotes.

      I would say Steem, i thought the idea of SBD was to be around the price of 1$, but I need some research about it!

        Steem dollars won't go anywhere, so it is a poor choice if you want growth. Steem is not a bad choice. Also look into Bitshares, the big brother of Steem.
