This year began with market losing bit of momentum that it had gathered in last phase of 2017.The year 2018 I think is going to be a decisive year for cryptocurrencies as we see more and more sector being merged with cryptocurrencies. A lot of exciting projects are all poised to become operational this year and as we are really going to see many things change.So I present few innovative projects that could go big this year and could equally likely fail.

Gaming

Gaming industry is a $100 billion industry and fraction of people playing games is on all time high and is poised to increase with more and more spread of digital revolution that is happening.So there is lot of potential in this field and the companies are aware of it.Among many currencies I found these few which show great potential and claim to be aiming at solving some specific problems.

EnjinCoin

On its homepage enjin says that "An ERC-20 token supported by a powerful framework of open-source smart contracts and software development kits (SDKs)".This crypto aims at allowing game developers to trade virtual items while preserving ownership rights and also the platform would allow players to trade virtual items.The price of enjincoin is currently $0.38 which can really increase considering it has huge potential in total market-cap by the virtue of it being in the gaming industry.

MobileGo and GameCredits

Both of these cryptos are products of same team and will be working alongside each other although they differ widely in the kind of problem they are supposed to solve.

GameCredit can used to buy or sell games from GPlay, a gaming store powered  by GNation. GPlay rewards developers with 90% payouts per sale, more than any other game store.Right now there are not many games available in GPlay,this can however always change as more developers discover benefits of this platform and that will attract players who will surely discover great gaming titles.The price of GameCredits is currently about $6 USD however its marketcap is  $423,425,395 USD which can grow manifold.And it will take just one good exclusive game to make the gamers around the world take notice of this and when this happens it can grow fast in a very short time.

MobileGo is bit different and it heads into even more exciting zone of eSports which  is even younger compared to single player gaming.MobileGo will allow multiplayer tournaments to take place in a decentralized way and peer-to-peer gameplay.Trading currently at $1.4 USD this is one with most potential and will be a crypto to watch in this year.

There is only one crypto in this category.And quite frankly I could not find any other crypto like this one(maybe IOTA a little bit).

Walton

Like Iota this project integrates blockchain with Internet-of-Things but this aims for a very specific kind of application.In this project a RFID chip will be developed which will track all the information related to any product and track it from manufacturing phase to the point of its retail saving all of its information on blockchain. I think this coin will become very valuable if there are big companies like samsung or likewise adopts it which I think walton is aiming for.This is one of the coin that I am holding at the moment since it was $5 USD(last price $30 USD) and I plan to hold for very long time.

As we see the cryptocurrency market growing, the money aspect of it is getting a lot of attention,  in media, among politicians and governments, and in general public. In this time I think it is very important for individuals and organisations to remember what led this phenomenon; I don't think it was money at all but few brilliant ideas and their equally brilliant implementation.And whatever happens it needs to keep happening.
