A Billion Dollar Blockchain Mining business by Young Entrepreneur in Singapore
A Singapore based young entrepreneur, Vikas Gupta shared on how he is in the process of creating a huge multi-million dollar mining infrastructure to support blockchain businesses across Asia, starting off with Singapore.
Vikas Gupta, CEO of MinersatWork (MAW) mentioned that in 1965, tiny and underdeveloped, Singapore’s prospects did not look good. It had no natural resources. He admires and learnt that how a small country without the resources has proven to the world for its success today. Despite her short comings, with R&D and innovation Singapore is more successful than others.
Crypto mining is considered expensive or rather not viable in Singapore due to higher costs of rents, salaries and electricity. We have innovated ourselves to be more profitable than others with cheaper costs. We have customised hardware to get better hash power. We are on our way to be a landmark mining centre.
