Gems ICO - Mechanical Turk on the blockchain
Having tried to make money online, I've had a little experience with Amazon Mechanical Turk in the past.
On a first glance it looks like a good way to make money from home. I won't go into whether it's worth it or not, but it does come with some disadvantages.
Among others, you:
- might not get accepted into the program,
- need a bank account,
And if you are not in the US, you need to jump through some hoops in order to get paid.
Gems is a platform that aims to solve these issues.
It is a decentralized, crowdsourcing platform built on top of the Ethereum blockchain. It connects requesters with workers in order to complete micro tasks without needing to worry about task verification, trust, or payments.
Do you think it solves Amazon Mechanical Turk's problems?
Given the fact that it needs members to function, will it gain the necessary traction?
