Thanks to the mainstream broadcast, relatives have texted or called me about it since they knew I was "into" cryptocurrency. I see that as a good sign, but so agree with you that the establishment adding bitcoin derivatives has nothing to do with the economic transformation except perhaps introduce and I might add validate the word Bitcoin beyond "blockchain". Hopefully people seeing it and getting interested in it will do a little research and discover the truth behind Bitcoin.
Totally agree with you. I guess time will tell! The only way I can see this impacting the BTC price is if people in the derivatives market also start selling/buying BTC to "influence" their positions. Overall I see this as positive. Brian Kelly has been talking about BTC for a while now. I doubt the price increase is influenced by what he said. I think we will see a continuous growth until we get to the fork, then probably we will see a correction.
