Step 1: Create a Coinbase Account.

You're going to need to first create a Coinbase account. It's easier to do this via the web. so go to www.coinbase.com and create an account. As you are creating this account a few things to be aware of.

• Store your login, password, and 2 Authentication password information in a safe place. I recommend printing these or writing them down by hand. - ** These should NOT be electronically transferred for safety and hackers

Step 2: Download Google Authenticator

• There is a section that says 2 step Authentication - now as a NOOB i was a bit thrown off by this as its not too standard for me. But its really easy, this is a live updating password generator that can be added on your smart phone as an app. You just need a google/gmail account.

• NOTE: That this authenticator will assist you in logging into both Coinbase and the other platform Binance so you can use 1 app for both authentications using both websites as you flip between the two as you are determining the buy/sell of Crypto Currencies.

Step 3: Create a Binance Account

This is where you are able to purchase XRP - Ripple as well as other Crypto's. I liked this option the best as it allows a minimal verification step and you are able to quickly buy XRP - Ripple quickly without having to wait many days to be verified.

• You can add additional ID credentials to increase your purchasing power. I sent Passport and Drivers License. Both were verified within 24 hours.
• Now my friends had fast luck with places like Kraken and Bitstamp. Step 4: Buy some BTC, ETH, or LTC

• In order to purchase XRP you need to have a crypto currency to purchase it with. So in your Coinbase account buy one of the 3 options.
• It has been said that buying either ETH or LTC is better with transaction fees. I know i have been buying BTC and the transfer fee to binance is about $16 USD.

Step 5: Transferring your BTC, ETH, or LTC to Binance

• Open up your Binance.com account.
• Access Top Navigation: Funds > Deposits Withdrawals
• Scroll the list and look for the similar currency you purchased from Coinbase. For this example were using BTC.
  • Scroll through the list to find BTC / Bitcoin and you will see two buttons. Deposit and Withdrawal. Select Deposit.
  • On click - a drop down appears and a BTC Deposit Address appears in a window. -THIS IS YOURS!
• Important - This is the deposit address you will use to send yourself your coinbase BTC, ETH, LTC to your account in binance.
  • Be sure this address is correct. There is NO turning back. - IMPORTANT Binance states: Send only BTC to this deposit address. Sending any other currency to this address may result in the loss of your deposit.
  • I was a bit scared at first but it takes about 10 minutes to appear in your binance account so dont worry.

• Go back into Coinbase
• Select Accounts > Send
  • Note you are going to be copying and pasting the BTC Deposit Address you copied from Binance.

• Enter the BTC Deposit Address you copied from Binance here.
• Note: Some crypto's in Binance require as stated additional information, tags etc, follow Binance's rules to do this, and place the additional information in the NOTE section below.

• Press Continue. now go grab a drink from the fridge and make a sandwich. Its going to take 10-20 minutes for the transaction to go through.

Step 6: HOOORAY LETS BUY SOME XRP - RIPPLE

• Now that you have updated your binance account after 10 - 20mins it should display your BTC or crypto currency in the section labeled Deposits and Withdrawals.
  • Access this by Selecting Funds > Deposits and Withdrawals
• Note: there is a bit offset for the transaction transfer for fees.
• Select Exchange > Basic
