Czech Republic to promote Litecoin
Based on the recent news, I would like to point out some interesting updates happening to cryptocurrency scene in Czech Republic. This scene is rather large for such small country. You can exchange Czech Krowns for Bitcoin. Trezor, the well-known hardware wallet, was invented in Czechia – trezor means vault. You can also buy coffee or get a share office with Bitcoin. However, there are more interesting news that should take your attention. And this attention focuses on Litecoin.
The largest Czech e-shop - Alza to offer payments with Litecoin
This is the largest e-shop in Czech Republic, you can buy here anything from clothing to computers and they ship all around Europe. I recommend you to look around Alza, as they have really competitive prices. While you can already pay by Bitcoin, they also plan to include Litecoin payments in few months. Don’t take it lightly, here we talk about Amazon for Eastern Europe competitor.
Online payments registrations
Recently, bill was accepted in Czech Republic to require every salesmen to collect payments data to centralized storage run by the ministry of finances. In one month, company Storyous, which provides systems to collect these data, will implement possibility to pay by Litecoin. This system is used by more than 3000 companies in Czech Republic and this implementation is going to raise general awareness about cryptocurrencies in the country.
Litecoin payments in Subway
Litecoin is already accepted in the Subway fast-food chain in the second biggest city of Czech Republic. We can expect this to expand to other branches.
Yep. I am proud for being Czech in that way :)
Pretty cool that you can get a sub for some LTC. Hope it spreads more!
To promote cryptocurrency in general, we have to bring it to real life and this is one of the great examples.
