Coinflash- Rounds up your purchases to the nearest dollar and invests into Cryptocurrency!
Not sure if many have heard of CoinFlash.
It is a new website and app that essentially takes your spare change from rounding up on purchases made, and invests that into Cryptocurrency! This is a great way for people new to the Crypto space to get their feet wet so to speak.
According to the website, the app buys Cryptocurrency through your Coinbase account.
EXAMPLE:
Lets say you make a total of 5 purchases in a week as follows:
1) Amazon Purchase : $34.50----------------------> .50
2) Purchase Coffee: 4:37----------------------------> .63
3) Costco Shopping: 102.60------------------------> .40
4) Costco Gas: 42.50--------------------------------> .50
5) Misc: 12.75----------------------------------------> .25
The total invested into Cryptocurrency would be: $2.28
This is just an example to show how the Coinflash App rounds up all of your purchases, then at the end of month or week it invested the total into the Cryptocurrency of your choice. Since the app currently uses your Coinbase account, the choice of Cryptocurrency is limited to Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum.
However like I said above, if you are new to the Cryptocurrency space this may be a great way to invest a little bit without breaking the bank!
Disclaimer: I have not used this app, I noticed it is not in the IOS app store atm. I'm however, recommending~ this to some of my friends who are new to the market
