SCAM ALERT!! -- HShares/Hcash is a total scam.
Followed through with some due dilligence on the site and found that out of their "Team" only one even remotely exists, and does not seem to be tied to the project AT ALL. In fact he hosts a finance related talk show in Australia. Not really what I would call CEO of a billion dollar cryptocurrency material.
Of their advisors they seem to be real people BUT none of them have listed any links to the H.Cash project from their own sites. Nor have their other "partners"
They threw every buzz word they could out there "DAG - Blockchain Hybrid" "POW - POS" etc etc...
This is a scam. Do not put any money into this company.

Kind of hard to figure how they could raise almost seven hundred million dollars and blow past Stratis and ZCash and into position 16 in market cap if they were a scam.
If anyone's reading this a month later through a Google Search like I did, Hcash actually appears to be legit so far. I'll be shortly investigating/making a post about them.
this is completely wrong, they're a scam.
Their team is incompetent, they've artificially increased the supply after releasing the coin, and the list goes on.

This already has a whitepaper because they completely copied the mechanism from the legit project, Decred.

They straight up copied it and made a few extremely minor changes, mostly naming and spacing. They did make one meaningful change which substantially makes the coin worse. It was to increase the PoS reward so they can maintain complete control forever.
