Faithful techies think in coming decades one digital coin will be worth $500,000.
The price of a Bitcoin broke $4,000 this month. It’s up 400% in 2017, and only two years ago it stood at around $230. With 16.5 million Bitcoins the potential for 4.5 million more, the market value of Bitcoin is now whopping $72 billion. Sister currency Ethereum is worth another $32 billion.
Yes it on the rise, in order to stop it, one will have to shut down the power grids : )
Even non techies see a higher side for this.
No matter whether you see it as a currency or a store of value, both markets present huge opportunities.
Plus, there is the old hype machine. We are only at the early stages of people becoming aware of what is going on. That will bring a lot of money into this realm in the next few years. That will only push prices higher.
