HIVE is a a publicly traded cryptocurrency mining company partnered with Genesis Mining. With a current focus on mining Ethereum. They also mine Litecoin, Zcash, and will mine Bitcoin in the future.
Their chairman Frank Holmes is a wall street veteran that specialized in gold. He sees the opportunity in cryptocurrencies and is involved with this company so he can mine digital gold.
They have a giant mining facility located in Iceland to reduce costs with its abundant cheap electricity. The colder climate is of course helpful for cooling down mining rigs.

This is one of the only mining stock plays on wall street.
