A Live Demo Video! Last Day For 25% WIRE Bonus and a Look at the Social Wallet Team!
Steem Update
We are so excited about the response we have received from the Steem community in the last 2 weeks. It was only 6 days ago, with the help from BuildTeam that we added Steem and SBD to the purchase options for our WIRE token.
We offered an exclusive bonus to the Steem community to celebrate this joint venture. Steem would get an extra week at a 25% bonus while all other payment options would reduce down to 20%. Well, we are a little under 24 hours to go before the 25% bonus for Steem reduces down to 20%. We received over 5500 Steem over the last 6 days for our WIRE token sale.
As you can see in the screenshot of our account, we have powered up 97% of the Steem sent to us from those purchases. We look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with Steem and knew the best way to showcase that would be to power up and lock those coins in.

Live Demo Of The Platform
David, our COO, recorded a Live Demo of the platform this weekend while we were at the Dallas Bitcoin Superconference for a few VIP’s. We wanted to share this with the Steem community as well. He used Twitter as the network of choice in this video. Take note how easy our platform is to use. With 14 of the top 20 social networks integrated in year 1, it’s easy to see why Social Wallet will be on of the most used platforms in all of cryptocurrency.
The Dallas Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Blockchain Superconference
This past weekend the Social Wallet Team attended The Bitcoin, Ethereum and Blockchain Superconference (https://www.bitcoinsuperconference.com/) in Dallas where we had a booth and also acted as speakers!
It was an amazing weekend where we were able to showcase our platform to the public for the first time. There were over 1,000 people in attendance and our booth had a premier spot in the exhibitors row. The turnout and response we received was overwhelming in regards to the platform. Here are some highlights from the event:
1. We were told many times we had the busiest booth in the entire conference.
2. A few top 25 coins approached us with interest in being listed on our platform.
3. We are in the process of finalizing multiple major partnerships that will be announced shortly including well known crypto personalities, businesses, and celebrities.

I'm glad to hear the conference went well. And great video, it's so exciting to see Social Wallet in action! A question if I may: what happens if you misspell the twitter username? Would the transaction be canceled or would your WIRE disappear into the void like what would happen with a traditional crypto wallet when you send to the wrong address?
Great question. First, let’s talk about what we have done to avoid this scenario. When you type in a person’s handle, it will show you their profile picture.
So as long as you know what the account looks like, you will not be sending it to the wrong person. Or in this case, a misspelling wouldn’t populate their profile. You can also link all of your social media contacts so all you have to do is click on them rather than typing out their full name. Now, if funds get sent, they won’t just end up “in the void.” After 7 days of the recipient not accepting the funds on their end, it expires and the funds are returned back to the sender.
We will continue to enhance and add to these safeguards. For now, we feel they are very adequate to navigate the platform without worry. Thanks!

Curious about that too. It seems all you’d need is the link to claim the WIRE. So if it went to a misspelled account that doesn’t exist, perhaps the sender could regenerate the link to the correct recipient. However if sending to a misspelled account that does exist, you’d presumably be SOL once they claim it.
