IMHO, these things work only for a short period. Big promotion, a lot of investors, so payouts can be done and the mouth-to-mourh advertising does its thing.
Once the number of investors drops, the payouts will stop and everyone loses his investment.
Been there, done that, got way more T-shirts than I would like...
Just be careful with your money, and get out before the first hype comes to an end (preferrably next week or so) ;0)

Don’t forget to edit this post if it stops paying out. I once had way too many ‘lost ads’ for a site like this. As a result, people kept signing up under my name and were losing their money :0(

Then it's up to you to decide whether you take the risk, and keep this post up, hoping the system keeps working and keeps paying out (which I hope it does), or edit it before post-payout...
Then, @zord189, perhaps edit now and put a disclaimer that includes the date and the caveat to cover yourself?
Also, does @Steemit have a functionality that allows one to turn off comments? I suppose not because they are stock in trade..... just thinking aloud....
