Huntercoin - a goldmine starting point or just a proof-of-concept ?

Does anyone else think that MMORPGs and perhaps extending to multiplayer games in general with in-game 'mineable' currency of a real value is almost definitely the way forward? And if so, will Huntercoin - the (granted, very rough) proof of concept be an absolute goldmine for having done it first and offer a basis to the actual giants of gaming to build upon ? or will they be brushed aside and the whole project forked to a more professional coin and leave Huntercoin to be eternally just a minnow in the cryptocurrency world?

Am genuinely interested as I believe in blockchain and gaming but don't know if this is the right place for my money.
