Nosqclient 4.0.0 is Here

Hello everybody, we’re back here! As you may know we already had some break to develop nosqlclient, you can read about it from here, but we’re back and now nosqlclient is supporting MongoDB 4 !

With the latest changes, we decided to use same major version number with MongoDB to clarify the version that currently we’re supporting for MongoDB’s major updates. Hopefully that would prevent conflicts for supported versions, but keep in mind that we won’t have same minor/bugfix versions with MongoDB

Some of the changes are;

• Removed deprecated methods used behind the scenes to support MongoDB 4
• Query rendering fixed for new nodejs driver and meteor upgrade
• Added $currentOp aggregation stage
• Added SCRAM-SHA-256 authentication method

Currently we’re still testing and developing version 4.0.0, but you can start using new features, and MongoDB 4 capability via our master branch, it’s already implemented as continues delivery via docker. Therefore the only thing you have to do is pulling latest.
