How dangerous is Bitcoin / Other cryptocurrencies - (schocking)

Well, we know all our loved coin the Bitcoin! A amazing project, maybe the money out the future. Everyone knows about it, and write about it.

But the last time, I see a lot of articles about that the bitcoin attacks the environment. Is that true? I didn't know, so I did a little research. And here are the results.

Total energy uses (at this moment): 2.55 Giga Watt
Total energy uses end this year (expected): 6.67 Giga Watt

And every year, will more people use bitcoin, but the energy we needed will be growing every year. And can we handle that? We uses our earth 2,5 times at the moment. And the bitcoin uses now, 2.55GW that's what Ireland or Australia uses. And they have 24 Million people who uses energy! And company's and trains etc. If we gonna compare that with bitcoin, a currency that not used for a currency yet (well very little). It's amazing, amazing bad... But Ethereum a other big coin, it uses to too much! But Ethereum have hundreds and hundres other coins at his blockchain.

So, is it worth? No, definitly not. Blockchain, bitcoins and other altcoins are a really fun hobby, but we demolish our own world to use and trade at it. But can we stop? We all make a lot of profit, and those miners pools are really intersting. We all earn thousends of dollars in crypto's for do what? Every day a few minuts checking at the market price?

We can't stop, goverments can't stop the coin. And company's sees the oppertunity to use the blockchain, more traffic, more miners, more coins and maybe in the future not enough energy for our children. And yeah, we are stupids, it's a miracle that we could live for so many years (we are so lucky) but... We our own world, for our selfs. Earth will survive takes a few hundreds years but he can recover. But we? No we can't. It's really bad what we are doing.

Please send this to your friends, let people know what we doing! And we Europe will not hitted directly, but other country's will. Energy price will go up, and poor people can't buy anymore. And poor country's comes in really big problems. So please help the world. Fight for a sustainable world!
