How-To: Take Part in the Scorum Crowdsale
On the cusp of the start of the Scorum Crowdsale, we’ve got all the details to securely join in the evolution of sports media powered by blockchain. Thanks for being a part of this project!
Whitelist participants can purchase their 25% off tokens stating January 8th at 17:00 GMT till January 14th at 16:50 GMT. No whitelist applications will be accepted after the start of sale.
The public clowdsale will be open on January 14th at 17:00 GMT till February 11 at 17:00 GMT.
Follow these steps to get your Scorum Coin (SCR) Tokens
1-Head over to the website and login to your account or register if you haven’t yet (whitelist participants are required to register with the same email they applied with):
2-Once logged in, you’ll arrive at your account page:
To purchase SCR tokens, select your preferred currency. To see how much SCR you’ll get for a given amount of ETH or BTC, enter the amount you’d like to spend in the “Calculate amount” box. The amount of SCR will be calculated based on the nominal exchange rate of ETH or BTC to USD (1 SCR = 1 USD) and the discount (if applicable) at the time of purchase.
3-Now you’re all set to get the wallet address of the chosen currency to send your payment:
4-After sending the funds, your purchase amount will be processed:
This processing may take some time, especially if buying SCR with bitcoin, but this transaction delay is due to slow processing of payments from the chosen currency and there’s nothing we can do to speed it up.
5-Once the payment is processed, your account will be updated with your SCR balance:
You will have access to the coins by the end of March, when we launch our blockchain and wallets. For all the details of the Scorum project roadmap, check out this post.
That’s all there is to it! All the steps to Scorum’s simple and secure crowdsale.
