Total crypto market is 505 billion. Another milestone for cryptos and everyone of us in the space!
Which is still very small! I have no doubts in my mind that we will see 1 trillion rather quickly.
Remember, do not listen to those who tell you this is a bubble. Sure, there can be bubbles in the crypto space, and sure, we could move a little too fast at times. But this is a DISRUPTIVE technology. Blockchain is going to revolutionize the world even more than the Internet has.
Every company in the future will be built on top of this technology, every application, every computer game, every cellphone. It will help automize and simplify so much, and it will be right up there with the wheel, Internet and the combustion engine. My guess is higher up.
Congratulations to everyone that is participating. Isn't it amazing to be part of something as spectacular as this? Not only are you making a lot of money, but you are also meeting people, learning, sharing and getting opportunities.
And please please don't fall for the medias lies about how many people owns Bitcoin and cryptos. It's bullshit. They call it the mania period, which is just lies. Sure, there is interest and excitement, but most people are not buying Bitcoin. Not in the history of the world has there been so much warning and talk about something being in a bubble. And that is of course because Bitcoin is NOT in a bubble. Or at least not crypto currencies.
If there were a frenzy Bitcoin feeding fest right now, we would have had much higher prices. Simple as that. Supply and demand. If the price of Bitcoin goes up 10% it means 10% more people own it. How many owns it? Around 50 million people. So a 10% rise would mean approximately 55 million people owns it. How about 100% up in value, to 34k? Then 100 million people owns it.
How can we be in a bubble? I've lived long enough to see through the simple lies of the media and establishment. And they never put out warnings like this for other assets. They did not scream bubble about the housing market, they are not screaming bubble about the derivatives market. They are in fact not screaming about anything they themselves have an interest in and we lose from.
With Cryptos, WE win. They will of course try and warn us and stop us from winning - because they are our enemies. Simple as that.
yup, the crypto space is finally getting the attention they deserved. Those big boys on Wall Street are getting wry. Seriously, inflation based economics where people debt up like crazy only to have the value of their money reduce to nothing? No thank you. Welcome crypto-currencies!
Definitely not a bubble. You put your money in a bank account today you are getting robbed. Plus if the economy gets unstable you might not be able to access your money. It's the same as relying on an centralized exchange. Like Poloniex for example. I still have my SBD and some Steem locked up there while they are probably busy using it for trading
Exactly. Come to think of it, It was the Malta-story (it was Malta wasnt it?) that got me into realizing how brilliant cryptos are because you can control your own money. I think that was in 2012 or something, when the government just took 50%?? of peoples savings over 100,000euro. Sorry, It was CYPRUS. Can you believe that? They just took 50% of money people had saved up.
It was such a heinous crime but not many took notice. People shrug their shoulders. Meh..they were probably rich enough. And that is what makes me so angry. That I at one point would have to bail out other people because they were careless, but I was not.
Hopefully many people learned a lesson at that time and kept their bitcoins ! Bailouts are so fucked up. It's always the average person who has to pay for the faults of ghe greedy bankers. If Deutche bank can't even survive today imagine what will happen to them and other banks now that we become our own banks with crypto currency
the crypto enverionment is growing steadily and in a few years both cryptos and block chain will be running the world, most media are been run by old money and the prospect of a new world that is free and everyone has the ability to change something scares them, the future is cryptos
Lets hope the old world just wither away and dies. We need to stand our ground against our oppressors, and the best, and perhaps only way to do that, is to HODL. Because they can't touch cryptos.
@scandinavianlife - as much as I feel empowered with crypto, I feel a sense of anxiety with this unprecedented rise... a slower ascention would have kept crypto out of media attention till a much later stage, but the attention bitcoin is gaining is too much ... governments are starting to crackdown on crypto traders in our whereabouts.. Just hope cryptos survive over the long term..

Just this phrase “They did not scream bubble about the housing market” is enough to realize people calling this a bubble don’t really know what they are talking about and are just trying to spread fear.
