TEMPORAL Mega Update - Beta Release #2, Contest, And More

October 1, 2018 — RTrade Technologies Ltd. (“RTrade”) has announced the second beta release of TEMPORAL, an easy-to-use interface into distributed and decentralized storage technologies for personal and enterprise use.

The first beta of TEMPORAL, a data storage solution built on the disruptive IPFS protocol, was originally released this July. Since then, RTrade’s development team has made major improvements to the platform, including code cleanup and optimization. Most importantly, developers can now build open-source test environments on TEMPORAL.

Similar to Ethereum where developers can build decentralized apps on top of the Ethereum network, TEMPORAL now enables developers to build IPFS data storage solutions on its network, becoming one of the few companies to build a usable product on top of IPFS with real-world applications.

Earlier this week Juan Benet, one of the main brain childs and originators of IPFS, retweeted two of ours tweets about the new Beta Release we just had! We are extremely happy with all the work that has been done so far, and it's awesome to see a legend like Juan see some value in this project.

Updates

TEMPORAL is now in the second beta release which contains a significant number of under-the-hood enhancements, designed to deliver a better experience. Our web interface also has had significant upgrades, allowing for an increased number of utility functions, such as Key Management, and IPNS Record Publishing. For the privacy inclined, we now have experimental support for serving the website over the I2P anonymity network.

We are currently working on a payment system that will allow users to pay for TEMPORAL interaction on a per API call basis. We will allow users to purchase "Credits" that are used on TEMPORAL with a fixed value of $1 USD. Whenever you make API calls, we will deduct from this credit balance.
