Well, first you would have to start with its technology, which for many is more advanced than that of Bitcoin himself. Basically, ethereum has a much faster technology when it comes to creating new currency units and is much more complete, although it still misses some of the security offered by the crypto-virus par excellence to all its customers. Therefore, and for some other factors that we will comment on below, the ethereum is not yet in a position to compete directly with Bitcoin. Although, if you solve these factors in a short space of time, we can start talking about direct competition.

Poor security

One of the main problems facing the ethereum is, as we said, a certain feeling of insecurity. So much so that the last to mention the term has been the own co-founder of ethereum, Charles Hoskinson, who claimed that these types of currencies were "a time bomb", and that people were blinding with "quick and easy money ".

If even Hoskinson himself affirms it, there is no doubt that we must keep one eye (and part of the other) on the world of crypto-currencies. And it is more than clear that, in the short term, does not seem to be the ethereum the new currency that will dominate the world.
