Stumbling along the way
So... I am in crypto world for 4 weeks and some experiences/lessons
Take profit: I was way up in alts, I didn't take profit. Bitcoin screwed it up and I am way down in my initial purchases.
Book Loss: I haven't yet done this. But I know sometimes it's wise to book loss so that you don't miss on good swings.
Don't chase pumps: Lots of pumps and dumps, If you don't know this game enough don't do it.
Diversify but not too much:Well it's always better to diversify to be safe. Never keep all your eggs in one basket. Having said that diversifying too much in crypto I think takes away your joy in profits. For every coin you have gains on some coins you lose money and your overall portfolio looks the same.
Even if you want to play in Alts for high volatility keep Bitcoins in handy: Alts game is exciting and bitcoin is boring especially in start when you don't have much capital and want to multiply your money. But Always have some bitcoins in handy so that you don't miss on good investment opportunity if you hear some news/rumour.
These are some lessons I have learnt, I might be wrong in few things. I will really appreciate some suggestions.
Never be afraid to take a profit! Remember just like the stock market Pigs get slaughtered!!
thanks @meandmyfam that's my first lesson. Don't have emotional attachment with a coin!:)
