Coin-Hive is Requiring Consent of Users before Starting the Mining Process
In CoinHive's blog post which you can see here, they have a new approach for implementing CoinHive mining on websites. Instead of running in the background, users have to actively engage the miners. CoinHive is trying to shift away from secret mining happening in the background. For example, I went to freebitco.in's browser miner and this is the message that popped up:
