To live a long and happy life, health is of utmost importance. Eating right, exercise and living a healthy lifestyle is necessary if one wants to stay healthy.

To aid us in this endeavor, mobile health (mHealth) apps that guide users exist. These apps take statistics and data of their users to plan a regiment fitted for them. Unfortunately, it also means that we are freely giving these data to companies and corporations behind these apps.

It also means they are free to use these data in any manner they want without our consent. This may not look like a big deal at a glance, but if you think of the fact that the mobile health (mHealth) apps and wearables are a billion dollar industry then it changes everything.

These companies and corporations will use our data to develop apps that monetize them without paying us anything. Fortunately, this trend is doom to change with the advent of Lympo.

What is Lympo?

Lympo is a health and wellness platform that takes advantage of the power of the blockchain technology. It is an advocate of healthy lifestyle ecosystem powered by user-generated and user-controlled sports and wellness data.

Using the blockchain technology, Lympo allows its user base to monetize their data, unlike your traditional health and fitness apps. It does this by rewarding users with LYM tokens for their generated data and reaching certain health goals.

The LYM tokens can be used to purchase a variety of in-platform healthy lifestyle goods and services like hiring a personal fitness trainer or getting advice specially tailored for us.

After the success of their ICO, Lympo is now ready to take the next steps. They hired nine new members and the release of their app is well on its way. Before that though, they have to make sure that their app is working properly and bug-free. To help with that, over 10,000 people registered to be part of the beta testers' community. All of this to make sure that the app works flawlessly.

Various exchangers are now trading the LYM tokens and token sale are expected to rise with their latest announcement.

According to Lympo's CEO, LYM tokens holders are eligible for a share in the company's total holdings. At least 20% of the company's total holdings will be distributed with a maximum 1% for every holder. This bold move is to make the holders more involved in the development of the company, as well as give more incentives to their user-base.
