Cryptocurrencies - Advice on wallet needed!!

Can you advise a good secure way to store Cryptocurrencies, and particularly Ripple?

Over the past week and a half I've dabbled in cryptocurrencies and made a decent enough profit that I'm going to go deeper.

I'm based in the UK and wondered if anyone could advise the best wallet to store long term. Particularly Ripple/ XRP as I don't see that moving for a long while yet although it could explode when it does!
