Thailnd's Biggest Movie Theater Chain is ready to accept payments through Crypto...!
Major Cineplex is all set to implement crypto payments to allow their customers to pay for its services, products with cryptocurrency which includes movie tickets & popcorn.
Since past couple of years Thailand began implementing crypto business.
Major Cineplex in Thailand is building a digital payment ecosystem in the country through a partnership with Rapidzpay (Swiss payment company). Major Cineplex has been founded in Dec 1995 & currently have more that 140 theaters within entire Thailand. Out of which around 40 are in the greater Bangkok area. It includes more than 650 screens, 7 in Cambodia, 9 in Laos & planning to expand around 1,200 screens.
Merchants can use Rapidz POS System to accept cryptocurrencies & fiat currencies. Major Cineplex & Rapidzpay will collaborate cryptocurrency payments into established payment gateways to make payment for products and services.
But, Major Group is yet to announce the type of cryptocurrencies which will be accepted, and entire nation is looking forward for this revolution.
