no sure. I personally post quite alot due to different topics of discussion but most of my replies get an upvote as people are reading my articles so i reward them as a thanks.
My upvotes are only 1c though and would prefer to give more so that more steem is distributed.
If people looked at the bigger picture of steem instead of how much their individual posts earned STEEM would be at $10 already with the amount of posts on steemit
That's true. But "if" doesn't bring us forward and that is fine. Lets expect the behavior from people which brings them the most financial reward.
Upon that we need to find quantitative incentives which will lead people to the bigger picture.
