Cryptocurrency now totals 1% of the total savings in The Netherlands

Approximately 400,000 Dutch people have invested in crypto coins.

The sharp price increase in November and December has attracted many new investors.

Converted into euros, the estimated total value of the Dutch investment in cryptocurrency amounts to approximately 3 billion euros out of a total of 480 billion euros in savings.

These figures were announced on the eve of the Crypto Day (29 and 30 January in Amsterdam) by Peil.nl .

89% of the Dutch now know although the confidence in the crypto coins is generally still low.
Also of the people who have crypto coins, only 22 percent say they have a lot of confidence in it. Almost a quarter of the Dutch think crypto coins are even scams.

Because many Dutch people have boarded late, the majority is probably (after the course correction of the past weeks) on a loss. Half of the people who have crypto expect a valuation increase of 200 percent or more this year.

Of the people who have crypto coins, 66 percent would like to buy and sell them through their own trusted bank. But 82% of crypto owners do not want the government involvement
