Genesis Vision Token Review

Hello fellow Steemonian’s my name is Eric. This is my first Steemit post, something I am extremely excited about as I have read so many articles before taking the plunge myself.

A little about me: I am a Private Wealth investment manager in the US at one of the worlds largest firms. I have been active in crypto for a few years through the ups and downs, but have no doubt the tech will disrupt major markets.

One platform I want to talk about is Genisis Vision (GVT). This is undoubtably a crypto that has been hot as of late and there is a lot to look forward to with this project. This a majorly disruptive project that could change how investments are managed in the future.

For those who haven’t looked in to the project before I’ll give a short intro. It’s an asset management platform currently layered on the Ethereum Blockchain. Genesis will connect investors, brokers, and investment managers from all over the world in a trustless decentralized manner. A managers trade history and performance will be etched in to the Blockchain for an immutable history. This allows investors of all sizes to pick and choose who they want to manage their assets based solely on previous performance. I strongly suggest you read their whitepaper. Today I want to talk a bit more about the GVT token and why this could be one of the best investment options around for quite a while.

The market Genesis is going after currently has a valuation of $70 trillion. The GVT token will be the constant for purchasing investment manager’s tokens, profit distribution, and investment operations. In the world a crypto, when most projects out there are just ideas, Genesis is just a month away from an actual working platform. The idea truly brings crypto together with traditional investment options.

One great benefit of this project is it will greatly benefit people from all walks of life. In my world of asset management $100k is considered very small. Many Advisors won’t even take accounts under $250k. The carrying costs of managing the accounts outweigh the income received from anything smaller than that. This leaves a large percentage of people underserved throughout the world. That $70 trillion dollar figure I gave before is the worlds asset under management amount. Think of all the people in the world who aren’t managed. I’m not going to even try to come up with a number but it’d be a hell of a lot. GVT will give everyone the opportunity to invest in a manager’s token no matter what. It’s a great step towards equality in that aspect.

Now imagine if Genesis even takes a small portion of that pie. I have read posts saying the GVT token valuation can be no less than the total assets under management in the platform divided by the number of outstanding tokens.
Let’s say at some point $4 billion dollars total is being managed through the GVT platform. Not a crazy number by any means. If you ask me it seems pretty low compared to the scope of the market they’re going after. $4 billion in assets would bring a GVT token to $909. I currently know single asset managers that manage over $500 million dollars or more in assets by themselves. Sure it’s taken them 30 years to do but we are talking about a single person managing that much. Imagine what a global transparent platform can do.

I always, always tell people to DYOR. Read the whitepaper. Follow the price. Ladder in your purchases and don’t invest what you can’t afford to lose. But to me GVT sounds like a great option for long term growth with a potential to explode.
