What is Friendz?
Friendz is a company based in Switzerland who has been in the market since 2016. Their goal is to connect brands to their users by using digital word to mouth marketing.
Companies will connect directly with the users asking them to create content for their product / brand. You will be paid in Friendz which you can then swap for money and services on their platform. As Friendz gets more popular their profits will be used to buy back their tokens.
As the ad space grows rapidly, companies are paying influencers to upload reviews/ blogs and pictures about their products. Instagram and Youtube have been a great source for users to build up a following. However with Friendz you can be approached or you can participate in their campaigns directly.
Their focus is people who like to upload for fun with around 500-2000 followers. Friendz are not looking for big influencers and celebrities due to their following will be more diluted in interests.
How to use token:
Participating in a campaign is very straight forward.

- Take a picture that is relevant ( Approvers will check if it’s relevant to track)

Friendz will also run Fun campaigns daily to get users engaged in earning coins and help build their profiles. Having a high quality profile will give you a better chance to be approved by the approvers. Profiles will be rated on a scale of 1-5 stars system.

Once multiple approvers agree they will then approve your photo and then allow the tracking statistics on Facebook or Instagram APIs. Anyone can become an approver and get rewarded in credits, however to qualify they must have taken part in sufficient number of campaigns and achieve a high profile quality rating.

The good thing is that most of them have been part of Friendz for years and are not new employees. The team consists of 35 people. They operate in Milan, Rome and Madrid.

The ICO is worth a shot with its already established business model, users,app and partnerships. Friendz looks like this can gain some decent hype and growth. I don’t like how they are raising quite a lot of money but the growth of where its at compensates for it. The money can be used for marketing and the buy back system which should help the token increase its value over time.

Friendz is a great project with a lot of potential and is very mature. It's quite similar to BAT or DATx but it does things much better in my opinion. This could revolutionize the marketing industry in the near future.
