New to Cryptocurrency, where to start?

I've heard of cryptocurrrency over the past couple years and came to a basic understanding of what it was and how it worked and just recently actually decided to dive in and give it a try. Nothing huge and extravagant, just a couple hundred US dollars 3 times over the last 3 weeks. I am still deciding what type of wallet I want to keep my coins in at the moment, so I have a portion stored in my Coinbase wallet (which I chose to use for my initial purchase of bitcoin/litecoin using USD) and the remaining portion in my Binance exchange account. I would love to hear feedback or advice from my fellow cryptoenthusiasts about wallets, communities, sources of quality information and I guess just friends to talk to about cryptocurrency.
