Whales, What is Their Strategy?
Everybody that looks at the depth charts during the day will regularly come across whales, be it small whales that are manipulating a coin that is is not traded so much or bigger whales on those coins that are traded a lot.
There is one part of their strategy that I don't quite get and maybe somebody can explain it. Sometimes they have an offer to sell at a certain price point, but they regularly cancel this order to just hop in front of the train, I guess to drive people to lower their prices. After this they cancel their lower order and go back to their original selling position. Also they are not driving it all the way to the price where they might be buying but stay rather far away from the buying price.
Can someone explain what exactly their strategy is in doing this?
