Bittrex Bitcoin Cash
OK, because I am super-paranoid, I wanted to double check on this: I just read somewhere where Bittrex is automatically providing their Bitcoin holders with Bitcoin cash. Will this be the case?
Should I move it now or sit on my paper wallet until after the craziness? My concern: I know many people are wanting to sell their Bitcoin Cash ASAP and I too would like to do so. Moving it now seems like the way to ensure it happens ASAP but like most folk, I would hate for there to be a glitch which could potentially cause any BTC I have on Bittrex to disappear or get "damaged" during this process.
Best advice for someone with a paper wallet who wants to sell their Bitcoin Cash ASAP? Anyone?
Your good bud. Just leave your BTC on bittrex and at 12:21 you will notice an extra balance in your account for btcc just like you would if you made any trade on bittrex. You may however lose out on other potential forks so it would be best to move off exchange anyways. If you are not trading or afraid of a sudden dump during the downtime that is.
As I'm not holding too much BTC, I will leave it on Bittrex so I'll be able to sell it as soon as possible, to avoid the dumps.
My thought too. I'm just concerned about Bittrex freezing everything, causing me to miss out before Bitcoin Cash drops rapidly in value, as many estimate it will. Hopefully I will not be affected.
