Is shilling cryptocurrency bad? | What are your thoughts?

Hello DTube and Steemians!

Today I want to talk about shilling cryptocurrency and is it bad? I would love to hear about your thoughts on this topic. Generally I don't think it is bad to create hype and let people know about a particular cryptocurrency coin. Most coins don't have a huge marketing budget to hire marketing firms to help get the word out. So they result to bounties, and other tactics rewarding their members to help with marketing. Do some of them go too far? Absolutely... I say ignore them. Are there scammy coins being shilled and marketed, yes! Buyer beware! With that said, people that are shilling aren't financial advisors. Always, I mean ALWAYS do your own research into a particular crypto before investing, and never invest more then you can afford to lose.

If you want to shill your favorite crypto here on my channel by all means go for it! What is your favorite crypto, let me know in the comments. :)

Don't forget to upvote, follow/subscribe, and re-steem if you like. :)

Greetings, mrchef111

Excellent video man. I do not like that kind of coin so much, for there is a very high risk involved in this. As you yourself said, if you enjoy it and are willing to take the risk, put only what it can handle.

Thank you and good night!!!!

Thank you! Yeah always do your own research and then make a decision if it is worth it or not. haha

I'm with you, man. I think that if you believe in a project that you can support it. There are scammy people who shill coins that they're just trying to boost so they can cash out. However, hopefully most people don't do that. We shouldn't be doing that to our friends though, so don't be shilling coins that are crap. Heh

yeah the classic pump and dump scenario. That's why hopefully with your own research you can weed those out and find the ones that have genuine marketing/shilling. LOL

Shill away! Everybody for a $5 mene credit sign up here: https://Mene.com/invite/kp9gyH

I must admit most of my crypto is in steem, but I really need to research more about others

Can't go wrong with Steem! :) There are plenty of them out there to choose from. haha

I think shilling should always be accompanied disclosure as to whether the person promoting the coin holds the coin or has been paid. Transparency is very important.

Transparency is always a good thing. But most people who are shilling a coin own the coin themselves. Of course there are probably loads of people on YouTube that shill coins and are being paid for it, but don't actually hold the coin.

XRP! Going up up and away!

LOL I am fine with that! lol I hold XRP. haha
