How SmartCash adds value to the project by creating new coins

Where does Value come from?

Most Crypto Coins with a currency focus have a built-in system that automatically creates new coins out of thin air! 

If you hold a bag of those coins, there are basically three aspects that affect the value of your holdings:

1. Speculation and Emotional Swings
2. The total amount of coins in circulation.
3. The (potential) Utility/Value of your coins

Well, we all know the first point, don't we. Coins go up and down like crazy, based on misinformation or some wild speculative future of the project. In the long run, these "mood" swings do not affect the fundamental value of the project. 

The second point is pretty straight forward and based on a very simple economic rule. When you own a coin, you actually have a share in the project it represents. When the number of shares increase the value of your share decreases. Clear and simple. So essentially, all newly created coins fundamentally dilute the value of your holdings. 

So this downward price pressure has to be balanced out by the team and/or community through actual value creation. With most projects all these newly created coins are paid to the miners (in case of PoW). Now, I am not saying that miners don't add value, even more so, without miners the network is not secured and transactions are not confirmed, but there must be more to a coin than just miners doing their thing!

How Does SmartCash leverage block rewards to excel value creation?

Instead of creating coins and giving it all to miners, SmartCash divides the block rewards amongst all parties actually adding value to the project. The current split is as follows:

• 30% for miners, SmartRewards and SmartNodes
  • SmartRewards are a price stabilization mechanism and a way to encourage long term holding. Everybody with more than 1000 SmartCash will receive monthly SmartRewards!
  • With SmartNodes, SmartCash has the biggest network of decentralized nodes (more than 16.000!) holding a full copy of the block-chain! Furthermore, SmartNodes together with the SmartCard enable under 5 second transaction speeds! Even faster than Visa.
• 70% for the SmartHive and the Hive Teams
  • The rest of the block rewards, a whopping 70%, is split between the decentralized Hive Teams and the SmartHive fund. The Hive Teams work and get paid to develop, support and grow the project, while the SmartHive funds can be awarded to any proposal that gets the approval of the same community!
