ICO Crowdsale by BreadApp Wallet

Hey Guys,

It WAS time to invest in one of the leading and secure bitcoin wallet called Bread. Yes, you rightly read about time, It was. Because crowdsale got completed in just few hours.

Following were few key points about this crowdsale:

1. Objective of crowdsale was to reach the cap of $20M.
2. Planned dates for this crowdsale were 16th December to 23rd December.
3. Tokens were available in exchange of ETH.
4. 1ETH = 900BRD(ERC 20 token)
5. Minimum spend was 0.5 ETH
6. Many rules were set to avoid big whales, so that tokens gets distributed to all the genuine investors and customers like maximum investment to be 100ETH for first 24 hours, thereafter 3000ETH.
7. Earlier also they had crowdsale for raising $12M funds, that also got completed in few hours.
8. Total of $32M raised through (two) crowdsales.
9. No further/future crowdsales. Rest token are reserved for the development team which accounts to 33% of total.

A little introduction about the Bread Wallet:

1. Bread is a venture-backed company headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, with customers in over 150 countries.
2. Bread claims to secure $4M. This number is just the approximation as they don't store data on their servers.
3. Best part which i liked the most about this product is, Team has Charlie Lee(Inventor of Litecoin and former Google employee) in their advisory board. Few other popular names are also there in advisory board members.
4. Wallet currently supports Bitcoin only and ETH support is in beta and we'll see it soon.
5. Reason why wallet is called secure is, they don't have their own servers to maintain user data about Bitcoin. So no fear of getting hacked.
6. Account is retrievable, even if the phone gets stolen or we ourself loose our phone using paper key.

Reason why the investors were so interested in this crowdsale was, Product is developed and being used and new features are planned. Its not like whatever they committing is just on white papers unlike other ICO sales.

One might ask question like why crowdsale, if the product has already been developed and is successfully launched. Reason which the bread lists is they have received queries from their customers about being part of their successful journey. Also, they need raise funds form further future planned features. So they planned to organise crowdsale.

I too was in-queue for this crowdsale and never expected it to end so soon. Seriously, in a number of hours of its launch.

But anyways with the thought of, whatever happens, happen for good only.
