Relatively unpopular decentralized cryptocurrency exchange has been hacked.

Hackers spoofed the website, thereby putting private keys entered without MetaMask or a hardware device at risk, and may be compromised.

You should move your coins if you haven't already. You can do this using My Ether Wallet, by importing the keys there. This is possible as ED is a decentralized exchange acting on a smart contract.

This may drive more users to other decentralized exchanges such as COSS and Relay Rally.

This is the third recent hack, with first being NiceHash, followed by YouBit exchange, and now EtherDelta.

With so much new money pouring into the markets, now is a great time to do a security check on all your accounts. Make sure your private keys are not stored anywhere digitally, and are somewhere safe, such as safety deposit box, a safe, or buried somewhere in a desert.

Got questions on security best practices? Leave 'em below.

Did you lose funds in any of these hacks? I actually lost 20 DragonChain I left in ED. :(

Cheers,

@mikev
