I knew something was up with Katy when she did those bizarre short haircut crying videos about her awakening. Not to be confused with her song Wide Awake. which is just a song.
She is just one person but remember, she's not a tech genius getting into crypto like John McAfee, Tim Draper, or the like. She's a damn Pop Star.

In terms of other mainstream crytpo hits, popular vlogger h3h3's most recent video is about the Bitconnect scam - which shows he's finally starting his research into crypto, key word FINALLY. He gets around 5 million views per video and is loved by the reddit crowd and those fighting for digital freedom and net neutrality which I will not get into. I could tell one of Ethan's guests (Comment Etiquette guy) was hiding things with his crypto mentions and constant talk of Red Pilling in this recent podcast.
With the biggest world economic forum in Davos actively discussing crypto, you know it's going mainstream and bitcoin is a household name at this point, very different from just a year ago.

i hope she notices and researches about steem, people like katy could give steem a boost just by tweeting or posting about it.
yeah - I think we'll have a TON more luck with h3h3 should create a campaign to bombard his comments with steemit posts - he would LOVE a freedom based platform
Bitcoin got a household Name, definitely.
McAfee has lost credibility. In fact any big player in the crypto space seems to be just pumping their wallet. And I include Charlie Lee in this category. I hope the people involved in Cardano are the exception.
