How to Choose a cryptocurrency/Altcoin for newbies.

Introduction:

Feeling lost about what crypto currency to invest in ???? I'm no A.I. but this might be quite useful!

For someone with little time on their hands and constantly finding it hard to choose and stick to a particular cryptocurrency, there is a few highlights you might want to look at in this heartfelt article that i'm gladly willing to share with this amazing community.

Before jumping into altcoins (alternative currencies to the bitcoin e.g Steem), when starting of one needs to look out for the dominating currencies that everyone keeps talking about.

1. Bitcoin(BTC) - $4232.23
   Maximum supply - 21,000,000 BTC

2. Ethereum (ETH) - $291.54
   Circulation supply - 94,948,248 ETH

3. Ripple (XRP) - $0.204040 [currently low priced; highly anticipated to boost]
   Total Supply - 99,994,523,265 XRP
   Very large total supply but then again a very large volume is traded hence the 7.8 billion dollar market cap

4. Bitcoin Cash (BCH) - $386.13
   Maximum supply - 21,000,000 BTC

5. Litecoin (LTC) - $51.84
   Maximum supply - 84,000,000

6. Zcash (ZEC) - $243.77
   Maximum supply - 2,324,569 ZEC

7. Steem (Steem)- 1.13 [currently low priced; highly anticipated to boost]
   Total supply - 259,398,911
   Steem has an absolutely large community online and has the ability to blow up as a large successful paid social media site
   which enables

Other Altcoins that are talked about a lot all over youtube and other social media platforms.
They do have a very large potential of blowing up to much higher values when kept for long term investment.

I highly recommend this particular currency because people rarely talk about it but i've followed it from the from the point where it was about 20 dollars and now it's worth about (90 dollars ).

Augur (REP) - $19.13

Summary:
As you can see there seems to be a correlation between the available supply of the currency and its price, hence from personal experience i would advise that for a long term and more stable investment you look out for coins with a relatively low supply.

However there some like XRP (ripple) that have a very large supply; these cannot be ignored because they may have a much more practical use, for instance XRP is used by banks to move massive volumes of money because of it's stability, quickness and large supply implying that when it increases in value up to say 1 USD, investment at the current price would be extremely profitable.
