The idea of this post is to share with newcomers some of the best crypto projects around.

I have studied more than 150+ projects and did not find a guide for new people where they can read SHORT things and EASY to understand.

Ether is the second coin in marketcap. It's a coin that generates lots of lovers and haters since it was hard-forked almost 1 year ago. NEM is currently 7th in Market Cap. It introduces the idea of Proof of Importance (POI) and it is written in JavaScript.
It's definetly worth a spot in your portfolio.

Stratis offers simple solutions for Blockchain applications development. It makes blockchain easy and provides resources for developers. It is a must have taking in consideration its actual under USD 500 million market cap.

Bishares offers a Decentralized Exchange. This is a blockchain exchange where you can trade all type of things. Right now, it offers crypto trading, but when smart contracts start appearing for everything, it will definitely be a great place to trade stuff fast and with low fees. I am writing here so you all know well about this project. This blockchain based social media platform allows us to get rewarded for valuable content creation.

Waves offers right now an easy way for anyone to create its on coin and manage it on the blockchain. They offer smart contracts and Dex and have some others plans for the future.

This is a very ambitious and long term project. This complex project is a game changer if they can finish its development. They aim to decentralize the internet as a whole. Not only they offer secured decentralized cloud storage for individuals, but they look to host websites and offer security for all kind of applications.
Their aim is to make internet safe and provide privacy for all.

9 NEXUS

Nexus has a great dev team. It is actually a small cap coin whose plans might make it explode in the future. It aims to decentralize decentralization through time, not money. They have a very unique concept and its strong community an dev team want to make sure goals will be reached.

10 UNITUS

Any long term portfolio in crypto MUST have at least 1 coin like Unitus. Units market cap is as tiny as USD500k. It has an active developer and works with Multi Algorithm (5 independent algorithms). There is risk associated to invest in UNITUS but the upside could be huge.
