Posted links to 2 documents that are pre-written testimonies that have been prepared for this hearing.
The fact that the files are hosted on banking.senate.gov lead me to believe that these are authentic and give us a sneak peak into what they are going to say.
As you can imagine they are quite length so I haven’t read them myself yet but this Redditor summarises them by saying the SEC intends to keep an eye on scammy ICOs but other than that no crazy regulation.
I personally want to see if anything else comes out in the official hearing so we’ll see what happens later today.

I see the Bitcoin ATM installs as a good thing. Like major companies getting into mining. The more infrastructure behind all of this the better.

Fortunately there are people like Chris who has a perspective that is ideal for trading, or IMO, even for living. He like the others are why I follow these people in particular. It keeps me focused.
It’s common for US House or Senate hearings to release a statement ahead of time which will then be read into the record to commence the hearings. This sets the tone for the hearing, forming the basis for the q&a sections that follow. 100% reliable when sourced from the proper site, as you did.
