A new card to dig cryptocurrency from Inno3D
Inno3D will launch a new card with graphics processors Nvidia P102-100. In a short time cards should appear on sale, and cryptocurrency miners will have a new hardware alternative. The card will offer a customized memory configuration and greater performance, unlike GeForce cards. It is worth noting that the card will not have a video output.
The upcoming model from Inno3D, which will be equipped with GPU P102-100 with fewer CUDA cores and 5 GB of GDDRX memory, which will operate at 11 Gbps, supported by a 320-bit interface. GPU clock frequency should be 1582 MHz in this case (we do not know anything about overclocking in boost mode yet). The TDP value in this case is 250 W, and besides, the model supports the PCIe Gen1 x4 interface, but also offers a full-sized PCIe slot.
Hashrate specifications:
The P102-100 chip card will be a slightly more expensive, but also better offer for currently sold P104-100 processors. The default performance that could be achieved when extracting Ethereum is about 33 MH / s (default settings of the card), and after overclocking up to 40 MH / s. Below, however, the performance of the new P102-100 card is visible:
P102-100 hashrate specifications:
- Ethereum: ~ 47 MH / s
- Zcash: ~ 660 Sol / s
- Monero: ~ 879 H / s
Judging by the above specifications, it seems that the new GPUs P102-100 are optimized and are great for etash coins, but it's not the same as what you can get on the GTX 1080 Ti. CryptoMining-blog is waiting for the first pieces to be tested, then they compare the real performance of the card and its specifications from the manufacturer. Another very important thing is the valuation of these new GPUs, but unfortunately in current market conditions we do not expect them to be much cheaper than what GTX 1080 Ti aims for. The potential price is to be around $ 800. Unfortunately, the warranty is expected to be one month.
