Currently dogecoin price is 0.0014.... even if it will reach 1$ in the future it will take forever... Instead of spending hours there we can work on steemit or other useful stuffs...
Some years ago you would not have predicted 1 BTC = $3871 ..... Dogecoin is ranked at no13 on coingecko.com This coin is one of the old coins in the crypto world and have a good community that always support this coin.
