What is the important differences between Bitcoin and Litecoin?
From my perspective, it seems that Litecoin has more value as a currency than bitcoin, as bitcoin seems to be mostly a speculative financial product.
The transaction costs for Litecoin are far cheaper and so more likely to be traded.
But I am learning about cryptocurrencies, rather than an expert and this is my initial opinion.
But what do you think?

LTC is like clear canvas paint after sketching , erasing, fixing and redrawing (which is BTC). So its always better because LTC is learning on others (BTC) mistakes.
I like that metaphor. In other words, Bitcoin was the pioneer and Litecoin is the settler. Pioneers tend to end up with arrows in their back whilst the people who earn are the settlers who do the boring farming.
Bitcoin gets the mass media all excited because of its rise in value. But perhaps it is other currencies that will be more useful in the long run.
