BEST PLATFORMS FOR ICOS other than ETH! Check These Out QUICK!steemCreated with Sketch.

If you do a little research you will find that although Ethereum is the most popular platform for ICOs right now, there a couple of others that make an ICO even easier than ETH.

These platforms are in order to my preference for ease of use:

1. Waves

Brief Description:

WAVES platform is an easy to use and aesthetically pleasing experience that makes you feel much less technical than your typical blockchain wallet and platform experience. They have an easy to use online exchange and the option to lease your coins and earn some small rewards just for holding. (It is called leasing proof of stake.) Definitely worth trying out - They have wallet option for many different OS's but my favorites are iOS and the Chrome extension which will sync with each other.

Check out these two sites for a little more information:

Recent ICOS:
Primalbase
Starta
Mobilego

2. Bitshares

Brief Description:

Bitshares is a tested platform that has updated to "2.0". They have the exceptionally easy to use method of your account name / address being hashed into a text. (you may recognize this tech from STEEMIT as they are bitshares based i beleive!) What this means of the average joe is i dont have to type in or remember a long 10 - 20 alphanumeric sequence as my account. If i want to relay my address to someone, i just tell them, "Hey! send the money to liberty-hound" Another example: if using shapeshift to get your Bitshares (BTS), the receiving address would be liberty-hound. THATS ALL YOU HAVE TO TYPE IN! very cool experience but im sure most people on STEEMIT have recognized the value that comes with the ease of use and explanation of the technology.

Recenet ICOs:
Crypvisor

All in all, both of the platforms are setup to give ETH a run for its money in the ICO market.

Sort:

I know them both and #BitShares is far superior but some may say it's too complex for their use case. It's a whole financial toolbox not only a decentralized exchange.

Waves is great!

Steem was started by the same team as Bitshares and was very similiar early on. Many Bitshares users joined steemit. They use the same technology, graphene which will also be used in eos.

Thanks for sharing. Any experience with how Waves handled the ICOs they have completed with regards to network clogging. Obviously we have all been effected by the inability to do anything with etherum during some Of the larger ICOs.

What about etc? Statrisbis also talki about icos.

In my opinion, waves is nowhere near mature enough to be a serious contender yet, but I will definitely look further into it to see how it stacks against the DEX.
