it is EXTREMELY hard to know what is legitimate news and information and what is shilling and FUD. people are essentially getting paid to deliver false information

for instance someone who bought a "shitcoin" and is left bag holding (price has declined since his purchase) has every motive to go out an spread misinformation to try and prop up his investment so he can get out of it

when you DYOR (do your own research) make sure you're always thinking to yourself how likely is it that you're being sold a bag of shit. look for provable track records and reputations, solid roadmaps and whitepapers, objectives and milestones being hit, corroboration and partnerships with legitimate corporations and organizations

be safe out there, don't invest what you can't afford to lose
