The World's Population has seen a drastic increase in the recent decades and that's due to the fact that there has been a lot of advances in the field of medicine and science. There was a time when even a scratch from a piece of rusted iron meant certain death.

We now just brush it off and just take an injection or so. There was also a time when you catching a cold or fever meant certain death. All this changed with the introduction of medicine, scientific medicines. This started out with the finding of things that caused these disease, viewing them, then creating cures for them.

The founding of pasteurization, antibacterial and antiviral medicines brought about the new age of medicine that helped increase the mortality rate and general life expectancy by several orders of magnitude.

While there was a time when a person who lived till the age of 60 or 70 was thought of having lived a long and healthy life, but nowadays, this has risen to about an average of 80 to 100 years of age.

All these medicines were created by first clinical trials, that involved in testing them on animals that have similar biology to ours such as mice, goats and other mammals.

There has been a lot of standards, rules and regulations that were created and followed so as to control on the extent that we test the newer medicines on various living beings. It also strictly forbade testing many newer medicines on humans right at the start.

While this has proven to be very effective and successful in testing and creating newer drugs and medicines, this has inherent flaws in its working. It is lot more costly and time consuming to bring a new medicine to the market via this method.

ClinTex Platform

They plan on solving the above mentioned issues by creating a platform based on the Blockchain that allows for companies to test newer medicines and perform clinical trials using latest Machine Learning, AI, Data Analytics and Deep Learning.

This being powered by the Blockchain means that its decentralised and the power of say does not lie in the hands of the ruling government or in the hands of few top players in the industry. It also is much more secure, flexible and scalable. It is also enterprise ready, to be used in industries and businesses right from start.

ICO & Team

They plan on powering their platform by introducing the ClinTex (CLX) Token which is based on Ethereum's ERC-20 Token standard. They plan on holding their Pre-ICO on 1 October with decremental periodic bonuses and their Main-Sale on 5 November. It requires for you to be Registered, Whitelisted and KYC Verified in order to participate in the ICO.

The Founders and rest of the team has adequate experience in Data Analytics, Machine Learning, AI, Medicine, Clinical Trials, Blockchain, HR, Community Management and Design respectively. The advisory board consists of renowned and experienced Analysts, Advisors, Investors, Entrepreneurs who also bring along their expertise in fields of Medical Industry, Clinical Trials, Marketing, Security, Business Development, Blockchain, Investments and Finance.

Conclusion

They have a really great team and even better Advisory Board backing them up on their endeavour. They seem to be well aware of the fact that they are going against big names and players with deep pockets and must plan accordingly for the later stages.

The Medical Industry requires more projects that aim to bring more of Open-Source approach to it. It will help a lot in increasing the amount of advances that we make and also help in leveling the playing field so as to give equal opportunity to all the players.
