Invest in Ripple!

Ripple right now is at .24 cents. I bought 600 shares at .16 and now I bought another 700 at .24. Total amount I invested was close to $300. It's gonna be worth it. Ripple is a service for banks to process bank transactions at a cheaper price. Just recently Ripple went from .18 to .24 and I believe it's gonna keep rising. It would be wise to keep investing in it as well ;)

You can invest in ripple or XRP by creating an account at www.Gatehub.net. You can link your bank account to your account. That is a 3 - 4 day process. You can also create a BTC or ETH wallet on your gatehub account. You can use either of those wallets to exchange for XRP/Ripple!

The reason for the jump was there is a rumour that Chinese merchant AliExpress is considering using Ripple for payments. That could be a good fit since it is fast - transactions in seconds, cheap, and has gateways to many fiat currencies. However it is only a rumour and as always with Ripple one has to distinguish Ripple the coin and Rippletrade the blockchain technology company. AliExpress could just license the technology from them and not use Ripple coins at all.

They could but how likely is that to happen?

I would say it is 50% likely to happen or not ...everything is possible
also, don't forget that ripple is a crypto currency that is centralized => it is in the hand of the banks and they can manipulate it as they wish as they own 70% of the supply (that is a lot)

For example:
If ripple price will go rocket high - the Banks might decide to start selling some of the 70% reserve that they have at high market prices -> this way they will drive the price down. than, when prices is low to buy back at a lower price

50% likely? Have you not been reading statistics of the crypto currency market for 2017? Hahaha 😂

Also to add to that you do know bank transactions take 3 - 4 days to process? Ripple has goals to make it way faster than that..

FTR it's not "in control of the banks", Ripple is in control of a single company, Ripple Inc. a privately held, venture backed company based in San Francisco, California. They do have billions in reserve Ripple that have not been sold publicly - most of them are locked up in contracts over several years that prevent them from flooding the market. But they are steadily selling large numbers.

This is a problem for them - if they keep the majority of Ripple held privately they create uncertainty about the future value of Ripple, if they sell them quickly they will crash the XRP price - although realistically probably not more more than it has crashed since the June high through mid-August. I personally think they should just pay them out at now charge to every XRP holder - basically do their own ICO for XRP using XRP. Or fork the Ripple platform to a new one where those coins don't exist or are magically created for existing XRP holders. I'm sure that can be arranged. Then they don't dilute the value and get rid of the uncertainty which will probably really help the value to increase. It will probably cost them something - but I think increased certainty about the future of Ripple could boost the value to more than compensate.

However as I've said before, people really shouldn't be holding XRP as an investment - it was never what it was intended for. Which, one could argue, is why they are keeping billions of XRP back - to discourage speculation. However I've really no idea what they are actually thinking, I'm not associated with them in any way.

Thanks for this good comment.
I totally agree that by increasing certainty about the future of Ripple it's value could go up and also that ripple is not a long term investment but more a kind of a speculation (for me) - I gained some nice money trading it back in May and got stuck with about 1000 XRP when the value crashed (in May it was more than 0.4$) it went down even more in confront of bitcoin.
let's see what will happen as there are always news some are good about the close future ripple price

yea that's how it works man. Buy low and sell high.

Solid blog. I was about to post a similair post. It's surprising how much uneducated investors the crypto space has. You still see people invest in this shady and scammy coins. We really need more insights in the market and previous investment results. I found this great website: https://www.coincheckup.com Since I use this site I make so much less basic investment mistakes. Go to: https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Ripple#analysis For a complete Ripple Analysis.
