Crypto Olympics: EOS vs. IOTA (MIOTA)

Welcome to the Crypto Olympics: Day 9

Coin vs. Coin – who will be crowned the Crypto Olympics Champ?

The markets are down today, making it all the more challenging for our competitors. Today, our competitors facing off will be EOS and IOTA (MIOTA). Who do you think will reign supreme?

In case you’ve missed it, these are the rules: we start with two coins and measure their gains and losses between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm PST. When the 4:00 pm finish line hits, whichever coin has gained the most (or lost the least if both coins are down) within our time frame is crowned the winner for the day and moves into the next bracket. We carry on until we end with our ultimate coin – the Crypto Olympics Champ.

We will be holding a podium ceremony at the end of our games to award the gold, silver and bronze medals to the appropriate coins.

Obviously, this is just for fun and games, and should not be taken as serious advice.

To see how we’re breaking up the rounds, check out the chart below. Otherwise, let’s get on with the competition!

The winner of today will face off tomorrow against yesterday’s winner Cardano.

Let the games begin!

EOS
EOS is the 9th largest cryptocurrency with a market cap of $6.5 billion. The altcoin is stepping up to the starting line today at $9.60. This puts EOS down 4.67% in the past 24 hours. Will EOS be able to gain enough to come away today’s winner?

Based on the EOS chart, EOS is only declining more. EOS better hope it declines at a slower rate that IOTA then if the coin hopes to take away today’s win.

IOTA (MIOTA)
As the 10th largest cryptocurrency, IOTA is coming in as the underdog. IOTA is starting the race at $2.08 and has declined by 4.34% in the past 24 hours.

Whichever coin comes away today with the lowest percentage loss will be crowned the day’s champion and move into the next round.

Check back in with us at 4:00pm PST to find out who today’s winner will be!

The race is over!
It was a rough competition today with the markets down. We still have our winner, though, and that is…

EOS!

Both coins lost today, but EOS lost less during our timeframe, losing 1.87% compared to IOTA’s 4.33% decline.

Congratulations to EOS, which will now move into the next round.

Check back in with us tomorrow – EOS vs. yesterday’s winner Cardano!
